Cassandra Frias is an Associate in the Firm’s Labor and Employment Group. Her practice focuses on a wide range of matters, including wage and hour disputes and traditional labor.

Prior to joining JMBM, Cassandra clerked for the Honorable Jennifer L. Thurston in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California and practiced labor and employment law at an Am Law 100 firm in San Francisco. 

She received her J.D. from UCLA School of Law, where she served as the Chief Digital Editor for the Journal of International Law and Foreign Affairs and was a member of the Chicanx-Latinx Law Review. 

Cassandra previously served in the United States Peace Corps in the Kingdom of Morocco. She received her B.A. from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, where she interned at the Carter Center and had the honor of representing the Center during an electoral observation mission to Venezuela.
